About Westbound Moto
Westbound Moto is an independent motorcycle servicing and repair workshop based in County Galway, built around careful workmanship, methodical diagnosis and straightforward advice.
The workshop is run by John, with a background in mechanical and electrical automation engineering, automotive, and bike building. That combination brings a practical, engineering-led approach to motorcycle maintenance, fault-finding and repair — particularly where mechanical and electrical systems overlap.
Westbound Moto was established from a long-standing experience in motorcycles and hands-on mechanical work, with the aim of providing the kind of service we would want for our own bikes: take the time to diagnose problems properly, explain what has been found, and only carry out additional work after discussing it with the owner.
From routine servicing and carburettor work to electrical diagnostics, brakes, suspension and more involved mechanical repairs, the focus is on doing the job properly rather than simply replacing parts until a problem disappears.
